BluePearl Pet Hospital in Golden Valley, MN is looking for a Patient Care Manager with passion and ready to motivate, engage, and train a team of veterinary professionals in our Specialty & ER departments.

Position : Patient Care Manager for our Specialty & ER departments.

Work Schedule : Full-Time

Pay Range : $35.65 - $55.70

• This pay band is dependent on local veterinary licensing, experience, and advancement through our competency assessment tool.

As a Patient Care Manager, you will…

Demonstratehighly advanced proficiency as a Veterinary Technician or Advanced Patient Care Associate within their appropriate department andmaintainsall related skills and knowledge.

Createeffective working relationships with hospital leadership to ensure standards of care are understood, effectively communicated, and delivered upon.

Serve as a subject-matter expert and resource to Technicians and Assistants regarding daily operations, patient care, and skill development.

Serveas a mentor to staff by demonstrating positive work habits, effective clinical skills and business knowledge.

Identifyconflicts in the workplace and seekassistance in resolution in order to create effective working relationships.

Coachstaff to create a culture of strong performance and high productivity.

Clearly communicate with team members to ensure consistent understanding of new ideas, changes in protocol, policies, and impending changes.

Buildpositive relationships across the hospital and administration to facilitate an environment ofteamwork.

Implementprocess improvement initiatives.

Workwith the Technician Training Manager to schedule ongoing training.

Document performance-related issues, assesses team members during annual review, and provides hospital leadership with recommendations related to performance management and discipline.
