Our Blue Pearl team is built on our belief in outstanding client relationships. We are looking to add an assistant to our service that shares our passion for serving our clients, their pets, and the referring veterinary community. We are a state-of-the-art facility located in the Hollywood neighborhood in NE Portland. At least six months of prior veterinary experience is preferred, This is a dynamic position with lots of room to grow in the veterinary field. Our ideal candidate will possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, and meet the following criteria :
As a Veterinary IM / CC Assistant, you will :
- Triage and obtain patient history
- Assist our doctors and technicians in the examination room
- Restrain for Ultrasounds
- Assist in procedures and with the cleaning and processing of surgical instruments
- Contribute to maintaining a clean and orderly working environment
- Monitor and care for hospitalized patients
- Perform diagnostics and outpatient care
- Communication with Clients
- Work alongside other skilled technicians providing excellent, advanced medicine to your patients
