About the Role: Behavior Therapist
Being a Behavior Therapist is more than just a job—it’s a rewarding opportunity to make an impact. You’ll work directly with children with developmental disabilities, including autism, using the evidence-based principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA).
Key Responsibilities
- Engage with clients in fun, play-based therapy sessions to teach essential skills.
- Support skill development in areas such as:
- Adaptive and motor skills
- Communication and social skills
- Play and cognitive skills
- Behavior reduction techniques
- Implement individualized treatment plans and behavior intervention plans (BIPs).
- Collect data and collaborate with a team of professionals to ensure progress.
- Maintain a positive and motivating learning environment.

What You Bring
- High School Diploma or GED
- Flexible availability (ideally Monday-Friday, 1:00 PM - 6:30 PM)
- Minimum of 20 hours per week commitment
- Reliable transportation
- Passion for working with children and making a difference
Physical requirements may include the ability to sit on the floor, stoop, stand, walk, run, and lift up to 35 pounds depending on client needs.
