Blueprint CFO is a leading fractional CFO and accounting services firm, specializing in helping middle-market companies ($5M–$50M in revenue) enhance their financial operations. We provide strategic financial leadership and support, enabling our clients to focus on business growth.
We are seeking a proactive and tech-savvy Business Development Representative to join our team on a part-time basis (20 hours per week). This is an in-person position at our Newport Beach office. This individual will be responsible for lead generation, outreach, and prospect engagement to help grow our client base. The ideal candidate will be skilled in leveraging CRM tools, LinkedIn, and other sales platforms to identify and engage potential clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Generation & Outreach: Identify and qualify potential clients through LinkedIn, information databases, and other sales channels.
- CRM Management: Maintain and update leads, prospects, clients, and sales activity in Zoho CRM (Zoho expertise is a plus).
- Prospecting & Cold Outreach: Conduct targeted outbound efforts, including emails, LinkedIn messages, calls, and follow-ups.
- Sales Support: Assist the senior sales team with scheduling meetings, preparing proposals, and tracking key metrics.
- Market Research: Identify industry trends and potential business opportunities to refine sales strategies.
- Technology & Sales Tools: Utilize LinkedIn Sales Navigator, CRM, automation tools, and other technology to optimize sales processes.
- Light General Office Management: Greet visitors (clients, prospects etc.) at the door, handle light administrative tasks, manage business development documentation, and support day-to-day office operations to ensure efficiency.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Tech-savvy with experience using LinkedIn, CRM systems (Zoho CRM preferred), and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Proactive and self-motivated, with a strong ability to generate and follow up on leads.
- Independent and able to thrive in a results-driven environment.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and stay organized.
- Prior experience in sales, lead generation, or business development preferred.
- Knowledge of the accounting and/or consulting space a plus.
