We are urgently seeking a skilled and experienced Contract Drupal Website Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for updating the current event website with content updates and images, managing the integration with payment processing and third-party integrations, and enhancing navigation and site structure. This position requires a thorough understanding of federal government website requirements and security standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain high-quality, user-friendly websites using Drupal 9 or higher.
- Implement and maintain website features and functionality according to established requirements.
- Collaborate with designers, content creators, and project managers to ensure websites meet aesthetic, content, and technical goals.
- Adhere to strict 508 compliance standards, ensuring websites are accessible to all users, including those with disabilities.
- Maintain a deep understanding of federal government website security requirements and best practices.
- Troubleshoot and resolve website issues efficiently.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest Drupal trends and technologies.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of the agency's web development processes.
Must Haves:
- Experience developing, managing, and updating federal government websites.
- Proficiency with Drupal 9 or higher.
- In-depth knowledge of 508 compliance standards and WCAG guidelines.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of experience developing websites using Drupal.
- Proven experience with the latest Drupal version (Drupal 9 or higher preferred).
- Strong understanding of federal government website security requirements (FISMA, FedRAMP, etc.).
- Experience with web development best practices, including code version control (Git preferred).
Additional Requirements:

- Must pass a background check.
Work Schedule:
- The initial website update will require more committed hours.
- Ongoing site maintenance will be on an as-needed basis, which could involve periods of surge demand.
