What are the responsibilities and job description for the Mechanical Construction Monitor position at Blueprint Hires?
A multi-disciplinary architectural, engineering and construction firm is seeking a Mechanical Monitor to help them provide diligent observation and construction monitoring services, as well as cost-savings mechanical solutions for their clients in Oahu.
Your Day Includes
- Observing construction activities and verifying compliance with contract documents, plans, and specifications
- Identifying installation defects and producing daily reports and records of construction activities
- Design and planning of HVAC, piping/plumbing, solar thermal, and alternative energy systems
- Oversee project execution and management
Must Haves
- 1-3 years of inspection or construction experience for Construction Monitor role; Approximately 10 years of technical experience working with complex mechanical projects.
- Experience in multi-family residential, institutional and commercial construction projects with familiarity in roofing, waterproofing, stucco, siding, windows, sealants, and other building envelope areas for Construction Monitor role
