Blueprint is a growing software company servicing the mortgage industry. We build software solutions to automate manual and tedious workflows to speed up the process of underwriting a mortgage loan.
We were founded in 2013 and have had double digit growth every year. We excel as a fully remote, distributed team. Our clients are major banks, lenders, credit unions, brokers, and government agencies.
About The Role
This is a full-time position with the intent to amplify the marketing and communications efforts of the Blueprint team. We are looking for a person who is passionate about telling our story and getting as many people informed and educated about our products and solutions.
As a small team you will have the opportunity to work in a number of different areas and on multiple projects and initiatives. Projects will vary from communication pieces in our blog and knowledge base, as well as digital design for infographics, banners, and trade show pop ups. On the sales side you will work with our sales team on our outbound campaigns and overseeing the automation systems driving the outbound communications.
At Blueprint, the content creation is only a small portion of the overall effort, we believe strongly in spending more time in the promotion of good content, over the churn of creating mediocre content. So in this role you will take a proactive approach to finding new and creative ways to to distribute, promote and reach our clients
Scope of Responsibilities
The Marketing Coordinator will:
Develop, publish, and promote digital content across various channels.
Provide support to the sales team to enhance client engagement.
Conduct client outreach for surveys and sentiment analysis.
Focus on digital marketing initiatives, including SEO, keyword research, and content optimization.
Key Responsibilities
Content Development: Create, update, and refine blogs, knowledge base articles, and how-to help videos. Develop and execute an annual content calendar. We leverage outside designers for some graphic content, voice overs, and create some in house. This role will oversee the outside contractors when needed, and directly create content internally when appropriate. Refining messaging, communications, and copywriting for brand, brand awareness, and brand positioning
Content Promotion: Promotion and distribution of content across multiple channels. Email, LinkedIn and more channels to be added in the future. Create and maintain a content promotion calendar as a companion to the content creation calendar.
Digital Marketing and SEO: Monitor and analyze site analytics, track SEO performance, and implement strategies to improve visibility and engagement. Keyword research and keyword campaign management
Client Engagement: Assist with client surveys and sentiment analysis to gather insights that inform marketing strategies. Engage clients for testimonials and reviews on 3rd party sites.
Collaboration with Sales: Work closely with the sales team to align marketing efforts with business development goals. Support webinars, trade shows, and promotional materials. Daily management of automated outbound marketing campaigns.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Required Skills and Qualifications:
BA in Marketing or Communications or Advertising
Tech-savvy with experience in website editing (WordPress) and digital media creation.
Strong organizational and project management skills to guide contractors and other team members to execute tasks to reach a larger project goal.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Skills:
Familiarity with SEO concepts and best practices.
Familiarity with Google Analytics.
Knowledge of the mortgage industry.

Proactive, self-starting attitude with the ability to work independently. We are looking for a strong personality who isn’t shy about striking up conversations, making their voice heard.
Comfortable collaborating with technical team members to transform complex content into accessible and engaging formats.
Exceptional communication and writing skills. When writing content targeting our clients, you won’t always be starting from scratch, you may be taking a topic or draft and improving it, editing the content, and ensuring the final product is clear, concise, and on brand.
Highly organized and detail oriented. We will have multiple projects going on at one time at different levels of completion. Staying organized and the ability to prioritize tasks and time is essential to success. In many cases you will be the final eyes on a piece of content before it goes live. Attention to detail is key as we don’t want simple typos or errors to be found by our clients.
