Job Title: Construction Safety Manager
Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated Safety Manager to lead our safety program. The ideal candidate will have junior-level safety experience and some knowledge of mechanical contractors, particularly in multifamily or hospitality construction. This role involves growing our safety department and reporting to Field Directors. The candidate must be proficient in using computers to compile safety reports and respond to incidents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the safety program across all projects.
- Develop and implement safety policies and procedures.
- Conduct onsite safety inspections and compile reports.
- Respond to safety incidents and provide recommendations.
- Collaborate with Field Directors and project teams to ensure safety compliance.
- Junior-level safety experience.
- Knowledge of mechanical contractors in multifamily or hospitality construction.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Proficiency in using computer including Microsoft Office and Procore.
- Ability to travel between project sites from Baltimore to Richmond.
