Creative Account Manager

Position Overview:
The Creative Account Manager's primary responsibility will be to grow and maintain a portfolio of clients in the conference and trade show industry. This role requires delivering the highest level of client satisfaction and retention by actively pursuing new business, closing sales, and providing exceptional customer service and proactive communication to existing clients and the internal team. The Sales and Events Manager will also drive the overall execution of internal sales processes specific to the conference and trade show segment.

Key Responsibilities:
Drive results by actively soliciting and securing conference and trade show business through a proactive, consultative sales approach.
Respond to sales inquiries, generate new business leads, and increase conference and trade show industry revenue.
Utilize industry partner relationships and sub-vendor programs strategically in the design and production of conference and trade show events.
Maintain a healthy pipeline of conference and trade show opportunities to achieve established revenue targets.
Ensure accurate and up-to-date information on all conference and trade show opportunities in the CRM system.
Maintain and manage an accurate client profile and database specific to the conference and trade show segment.
Prepare and gather client intake documents, leading to the creation of written client proposals using descriptive text, imagery, or graphic designs tailored to the conference and trade show industry.
Create pricing proposals, style guides, and contract documents that effectively support new engagements in the conference and trade show market.
Take responsibility for the production elements of all conference and trade show projects sold, including managing the procurement of products and services from internal or external resources.
Manage individual client program file management and initiate workflows for conference and trade show projects.
Ensure accurate management of all client invoicing and billings related to conference and trade show events.
Stay updated on new product/service offerings and emerging technology relevant to the conference and trade show industry.
Engage with industry-related professional organizations in the conference and trade show segment.
Quickly learn and demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of Blueprint Studios' production, fabrication, printing asset rentals, and AV services tailored to the conference and trade show market.
Qualifications:
Minimum of five (5) years of outside sales experience within conference and trade show planning and production, catering services, hotel sales/catering services, and production.
Proven record of reaching sales targets within a high-volume organization with year-over-year sales growth in the conference and trade show industry.
Deep and thorough knowledge of CRMs and a strong understanding of the sales process flow in a project-based business environment.
Must be initiative-taking and possess a keen understanding of how to hunt for and win new clients within the core target markets of our conference and trade show business.
Strong negotiation skills to close sales with a wide range of budgets.
Prior experience and expertise in conference and trade show sales are required.
