BlueRock Behavioral Health is seeking an Operations Manager in Asheville, NC to oversee the day-to-day operations of our adolescent residential treatment facility. This role is ideal for a strategic, hands-on professional who can balance logistics, compliance, team leadership, and facility management to ensure smooth operations and exceptional care for the youth we serve.

Who We’re Looking For:
A highly organized, detail-oriented leader who can balance multiple priorities while maintaining a calm, solution-driven approach. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator, proactive problem solver, and skilled multitasker with experience in facility operations, team leadership, and compliance management.
Operations Manager Key Responsibilities:
- Human Resources – Oversee recruiting, hiring, onboarding, retention, and performance evaluations
- Operational Supervision – Manage facility/maintenance and kitchen staff, oversee capital projects, and ensure facility upkeep and budget adherence
- Quality Control & Compliance – Serve on Quality, Compliance, and Leadership Teams, assist with accreditation, and support staff training initiatives
- Financial Oversight – Maintain financial records, manage petty cash, oversee invoicing, and report financial transactions to AR/AP contractor
- Vendor & Service Coordination – Maintain relationships with external service contractors and ensure agency vehicles and facilities are well-maintained
- Leadership & Culture Building – Foster a team culture of accountability, professionalism, and compassion
Operations Manager Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Management, or related field
- 2 years of operational leadership experience (behavioral health or healthcare preferred)
- Supervisory experience required
- Knowledge of Medicaid billing processes & procedures preferred
- Current Notary Certificate (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Valid driver’s license & clean driving record (Must be 25 years old)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Drive, and EHR software
