What are the responsibilities and job description for the Videographer/Video Editor position at Blues Hog LLC?
Blues Hog manufacturers premium BBQ products and is headquartered in Washington, Missouri. We are seeking a creative videographer with a passion BBQ to add to our growing internal marketing team.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Work with internal marketing/creative team to produce video and photo content that fits the evolving brand image and BBQ industry trends.
- Be ready to shoot any day, any time.
- Direct on camera talent ranging from company team members, BBQ pitmasters, general public, etc.
- Execute creative vision though video and photography for various platforms including social, digital ad, and broadcast, including vertical, square, and traditional aspect ratios.
- Create and execute production plan for events, ensuring planned deliverables are achieved.
- Work closely with Digital Media Specialist to create engaging content for social platforms.
- Work closely with graphic design team to create engaging graphic content used in video production.
- Create motion graphic product video for ads and promotions.
- Utilize music and SFX in line with brand or event aesthetic.
- Utilize new and existing footage in promotional video creation.
- Direct other camera operators and production staff as needed.
- Transport, set-up and operate various production equipment including cameras, audio and video recorders, lighting equipment, etc.
- Maintain digital asset organization.
- Maintain production equipment.
- This position is full-time and required to work in-office, with travel required to filming/event locations at times. Freelance editors will not be chosen to fill this position.

Candidate Must Possess:
- Self-starter who can take an idea from script to screen with little supervision.
- Storyteller with modern, creative vision which can be communicated with a larger team and clients.
- Proficient in “Run and Gun” style event video production.
- Understanding of production planning, scheduling, setup, and execution.
- Detail oriented and highly organized.
- Knowledge of Sony cameras, lighting, audio recording, gimbals, etc.
- Ability to meet very tight deadlines and work under pressure.
- Adobe Premiere Pro, Audition, and After Effects proficient.
- Experience in Photoshop a plus.
- All applicants must submit a Demo Reel and/or project examples demonstrating creative and technical ability.
