The Engineering Excellence Manager is responsible for the BBNA engineering load balance effort along with all central scheduling. Engineering training content, engineering standards development, documentation, performance metrics, centralized support, VDC services, Corporate Engineering and Manufacturing Quality Manager, innovation implementation, personnel evaluation metrics and rankings, as well as centralized frame design fall under the control of this position. When BBNA releases new technology or products, the rollout of this information to all engineering groups is a critical function of this role. The Engineering Excellence Manager will be the primary facilitator for a culture of continuous improvement for BBNA Engineering.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities
- Lead the leveraging of BBNA Production Engineering resources ensuring company-wide load balancing and scheduling to maximize engineering accuracy, utilization, absorption, forecasting and efficiency in order to accelerate throughput, shorten lead time and reduce cost.
- Ensure appropriate processes are documented and training is available so the required technical capability exists in order to fully meet the needs of customers and builders.
- Ensure all reports, records, data and support documents are current and accurate and use these to analysis the performance of the Production and Engineering Excellence team.
- Ensure all people management processes are adhered to including the performance management process and the talent and succession process.
- Develop training content to train on processes as well as personnel development, testing and production personnel evaluation to ensure BBNA maintains adequate technical expertise.
- Lead a culture of continuous improvement actively participating in and contributing to BBNA engineering improvement initiatives including the standardizing of processes and systems to drive improvements in quality and to significantly reduce claims and the implementation of Vision.
- Lead technology reviews and support the VP Engineering in developing appropriate strategies
Minimum:
- Bachelor degree
- 10 years of engineering management experience
- Proven track record of leading high performance engineering teams
- Customer focus both internal and external
- Professional Engineering License
- Thorough knowledge of BBNA product and engineering procedures
- Thorough knowledge of BBNA engineering documentation
