Job Summary
As an IT Project Manager, you will oversee key technology, process, and infrastructure projects, ensuring their successful execution within scope, budget, and timeline. This role requires expertise in project management methodologies, budget tracking, and cross-functional collaboration with internal teams, business stakeholders, and external vendors.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain project charters, work plans, schedules, and communication strategies based on project objectives.
- Manage project budgets, including cost estimation, approvals, and ongoing tracking.
- Ensure adherence to project management best practices, methodologies, and tools.
- Lead global cross-functional project teams, providing guidance and direction.
- Conduct risk management, including identifying risks, creating mitigation strategies, and maintaining documentation.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define requirements, manage expectations, and mitigate risks.
- Deliver project status reports, covering scope, milestones, budget, risks, and change requests.
- Maintain strong relationships with technology teams, business sponsors, system users, and external vendors.
Core Requirements
- 5–7 years of experience managing medium to high-complexity IT projects.
- Strong experience managing infrastructure, application, security, and technology projects.
- Budget management expertise, including CAPEX requests, approvals, and spend tracking.
- Experience handling project-related changes in a 24x7 production environment.
- Familiarity with IT infrastructure and cybersecurity, including:
- Servers, networking equipment (switches, routers, firewalls, wireless access points)
- Data center technologies & virtualization platforms
- Cloud hosting environments
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, resource management, and change management.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills in a global, multicultural setting.
- Ability to balance on-time, on-scope, and on-budget delivery while managing trade-offs.
- Hands-on experience in systems administration, network engineering, or cloud platforms is a plus.
Bonus Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or a related field.
- Experience as a Business Analyst.
- Familiarity with telecom vendors for circuit provisioning and Move/Add/Change (MAC) orders.
- Experience drafting and managing RFP initiatives for IT equipment and services.
- Hands-on experience with IT security and compliance frameworks.
- Project Management certification (PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent).
