We are seeking an Infrastructure Project Manager with expertise in Active Directory, network infrastructure, routers, and switches to lead and manage IT infrastructure projects across enterprise environments. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent project management skills, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and secure infrastructure solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Planning & Execution: Oversee the end-to-end implementation of infrastructure projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Active Directory Management: Lead projects involving Active Directory migrations, upgrades, and security enhancements to improve authentication, access control, and identity management.
- Network Infrastructure Management: Manage the deployment and maintenance of network systems, including routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs, ensuring optimal performance and security.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with network engineers, system administrators, security teams, and senior leadership to align project goals with business objectives.
- Risk & Issue Management: Identify potential risks, develop mitigation strategies, and proactively address infrastructure-related challenges.
- Documentation & Compliance: Ensure all infrastructure projects adhere to security policies, industry best practices, and compliance standards while maintaining accurate project documentation.
- Performance Monitoring: Track project milestones, conduct regular status updates, and provide detailed reports to executive stakeholders.
Required Qualifications:
- 5 years of experience as an IT Infrastructure Project Manager, leading networking and system-related projects.
- Strong expertise in Active Directory (AD), including user authentication, group policies, and domain management.
- Hands-on experience with networking components, including routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers.
- Knowledge of IP networking, VLANs, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, and cybersecurity best practices.
- Experience managing cloud and hybrid infrastructure projects (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) is a plus.
- Strong understanding of ITIL frameworks, change management, and service delivery processes.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess technical challenges and implement effective solutions.
- PMP, ITIL, or relevant certifications are highly desirable.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Windows Server environments, virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V), and disaster recovery planning.
- Familiarity with Zero Trust security models, IAM solutions, and multi-factor authentication (MFA).
- Strong vendor management and procurement experience for infrastructure solutions.
- Experience as a Business Analyst.
- Familiarity with telecom vendors for circuit provisioning and Move/Add/Change (MAC) orders.
- Experience drafting and managing RFP initiatives for IT equipment and services.
- Hands-on experience with IT security and compliance frameworks.
- Project Management certification (PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent).
