Exciting Outside Plant (OSP) Construction Manager opportunity!
We are pleased to offer an outstanding full-time position with our valued client for an Outside Plant (OSP) Construction Manager. This role involves managing Fiber-to-the-Home (FTTH) construction projects and overseeing all aspects of OSP construction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and schedule OSP construction vendors for fiber projects.
- Conduct quality assurance/quality control (QA/QC) on work performed by construction contractors.
- Coordinate bid walks and review/redline construction drawings.
- Collaborate with permitting authorities, municipalities, engineering teams, and planners.
- Review and interpret field engineering drawings for underground and overhead fiber make-ready work.
- Prepare and manage project closeout packages.
- Track project progress and submit comprehensive reports.
- Read and manage fiber splice documents.
- Interpret OTDR and power meter readings for fiber testing and diagnostics.
Desired Skills and Qualifications:
- Strong proficiency in MS Excel for tracking and reporting.
- Excellent understanding of OSP construction practices and industry standards.
