The Support Advisor reports to Executive Management. Your role will be critical in leveraging the Lead Advisors’ time as efficiently as possible, ensuring adherence to regulatory and compliance policies.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
To perform this role successfully, the individual must be able to perform each essential duty:
- Attends client meetings and takes extensive notes
- Analyzes client information, prepares reports and presentations, and manages reports in the portfolio management system (Albridge)
- Answers basic investment and financial planning questions for clients
- Enters information into financial planning software (eMoney) and prepares draft plans
- Analyzes asset allocation and generates rebalancing trades
- Research products, investment managers, services, and pricing; contacts carriers for information
- Creates custom reports for analyzing purchase decisions or planning scenarios
- Interfaces with the broker-dealer or custodian to obtain information or account data and convey service requests
- Maintains information related to duties in CRM
- Forward complaints to the compliance department and maintain records for auditing
- Maintain detailed records, communicate effectively with teams, and address compliance risks analytically
- Assist clients with online access
- Other duties as assigned by Executive Management
- Overall client satisfaction, both prompted and unsolicited
- Positive feedback from Lead advisor and staff interactions
- Accuracy and timeliness of paperwork and projects
- Strong organization skills
- Ability to utilize available resources
- Implementation of projects on time
To perform this job successfully, the individual should have the following skills and abilities:
- Ability to build relationships with clients and internal partners
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
- Able to work independently and effectively manage multiple tasks at once
- Advanced computer skills: high proficiency with Excel is essential
- Understanding of investment products and portfolio construction
- Experience/knowledge of building financial plans
- None
- 3-7 years in a similar role and 5-10 years of financial services industry experience required
- Undergraduate degree required
- Series 7 and Series 66 licenses are required
