Salary Range: In compliance with Colorado's Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the salary range for this role is $150,000 - $170,000. Final compensation for this role will be determined by various factors such as a candidate's relevant work experience, skills, certifications, and location.
Location: Colorado Springs, Colorado. This is not a remote position.
Additional Compensation: This position is eligible for an end-of-year bonus.

Position Description

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead software development projects from start to finish, making sure we hit deadlines, deliver quality, and keep customers thrilled.
- Define project goals and scope, crafting plans that balance customer needs and team capabilities.
- Track team performance metrics and keep everyone on the same page with progress reports.
- Deliver solutions tailored to our customers' needs, with a clear eye on quality and value.
- Estimate timelines and resources, making sure projects move forward efficiently.
- Keep an eye on risks, heading off potential roadblocks before they become full-blown issues.
- Manage budgets, because you know that every dollar counts.
- Track milestones and KPIs to make sure we're always moving the needle in the right direction.
- Be the communication champion, ensuring smooth collaboration between team members, stakeholders, and anyone else who's in the loop.
- Deliver regular project updates-no surprises here, just clarity and confidence.

Basic Qualifications and Skills:
- Proficiency in project management tools like Jira, Asana, or MS Project.
- Strong knowledge of software development methodologies (Agile, Scrum, etc.).
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to manage cross-functional teams.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, capable of handling multiple projects simultaneously.
- Problem-solving mindset, with the ability to think critically and make effective decisions under pressure.
- Budget management experience, including cost tracking and resource allocation.
- Ability to foster collaboration and ensure alignment across technical and business stakeholders.
Required Education: 8 years in Project Management with a Bachelor of Science degree OR associate degree with 2 additional years beyond the minimum required may be substituted in lieu of a degree OR a High School Diploma with 4 additional years of Project Management experience beyond the minimum required may be substituted in lieu of a degree.
Clearance Requirement: This position requires the ability to obtain a TS/SCI Clearance. To be eligible for clearance, US Citizenship is required, and an employee must agree to participate in a background screen and credit check.
Relocation: This position does not offer relocation. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.
