BlueStar is looking for a motivated and self-starting Service Contract Specialist to join our team. This position is responsible for providing detailed oriented service and software support for the Zebra line on a day to day.
Sales Support:
- Work with vendor's service and software teams to build relationships
- Work with BlueStar's sales reps to maintain our service attach and renewal rates
- Process services daily discount programs (price exceptions and deal registrations)
- Assist BlueStar's sales reps in quoting and processing service renewals
- Provide tools to offer to VARs to help win service opportunities
- Support sales team on service and software issues and concerns
- Assistance in the training of BlueStar sales staff service and software offerings
- Execution of the Vendor/BlueStar annual Business Plans for sales regions
- Assistance in asset management of all vendor's products and service and service SKUs
- Assist in the development of content for all of the marketing and business development collateral for BlueStar/Vendor micro-sites, catalogs, solution sales sheets, product mailers, newsletters, and other promotional programs
- Assist other BlueStar BDMs and Partners in the development of Solution Bundles including any of the vendor's services and software
- Advise and notify BlueStar's management team of all vendor business activities and concerns via BlueStar's reporting weekly and monthly reporting mechanisms and meetings
Qualifications:
All candidates must have experience in management functions: planning, organizing, directing and controlling financial and material resources which include:
- Complete understanding of all aspects of added value business development
- Must be an excellent communicator, face to face and over the phone
- Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Outlook, Excel, Power Point
- Writing skills must be sharp and defined
- Understand distribution models and basic concepts of reseller channels
- Knowledge of the POS and AIDC channel is a plus
- Candidates must have at least a two-year degree, four-year college degree preferred
