Other benefits include competitive pay, paid vacation and holidays, and career advancement opportunities.Essential responsibilities include : The Outbound Operations Manager is primarily responsible for the oversight and coordination of all order fulfillment functions on both outbound shifts at the Hebron-based operation facilities.Directly oversee and manage the outbound and automated operations including but not limited to : Picking, Packing and Shipping of daily orders.Monitor daily outbound operations to identify and resolve problem areas and make appropriate adjustments.Audit all processes for accuracy.Evaluate starring needs and position changes as needed to best support the operation.Develop strong shift startup, handoff and EOS procedures, including best practices for effective shift startups, shift to shift expectations, fostering strong working relationships between shifts and EOS checklists.Identify and implement improvements to outbound processes and procedures for optimizing cost reductions, customer service, productivity, and safety enhancements.Hire, train and supervise shipping management team.Provide leadership, training and motivation to teamMeasure performance of management and teams.Establish productivity and quality standards.Actively delegate the daily workload in an effort to ensure all required daily activities can be completed. Promote a safe work environment, upholding company safety policies and procedures.Manage security and access to the facility.Monitor the general maintenance and upkeep of the facility, procurement and supplies.Other duties as assigned.Qualifications : Bachelor's degree in business management, supply chain management, or logistics.A minimum of 5-7 years of management experience in a distribution center environment.A minimum of 3 years of experience managing distribution center outbound operations with extensive knowledge in pick, pack, shipping and cycle counting.
