Night Auditor Hotel and Hotel Maintenance

We are looking for someone that is interested in dual role - 2 nights of night audit at the front desk and 2 day shifts of front of house.

Night Audit Job description
The Night Audit Associate works both as part of a team and alone on overnight shifts to ensure guests receive excellent hospitality and the property is supervised, secure and safe at all times. Due to the nature of the position, the Night Audit Associate takes a leadership role in emergencies and other situations overnight that would otherwise be handled by managers. Prior hotel night audit or front desk experience required.

KEY JOB DUTIES

• Balance hotel accounts and make adjustments/corrections as needed.
• Ensure all guest accounts are accurately posted with room and tax
• Complete, print and distribute required audit processes and reports.
• Maintain positive guest relations at all times.
• Maintain complete knowledge at all times of all hotel features/services, hours of operation, daily house count and expected arrivals/departures
• Speak fluent English
• Count your drawer to ensure the correct amount of money assigned to you is at hand before starting your shift. Keep your drawer secure at all times.
• Process all payments according to established hotel requirements.
• Answering phones
• Providing information about the hotel and services, answering guest questions and taking reservations
• Welcoming our guests, extending recognition to our loyal guests and military members
• Providing an accurate and efficient check in/check out process in accordance with company guidelines and procedures, ensuring proper credit is received, special requests are noted and fulfilled, and accurate information is established.
• Resolve guest complaints, ensuring guest satisfaction.
• Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation and organization of assigned work areas
• Monitors and maintains security of the building and grounds and ensuring that only authorized persons enter the property.
• Periodic tours of the property to ensure safety and security of all associates and guests. Report all safety and security issues directly to the manager.

Maintenance Job Description

Responsible for maintaining the general condition of the hotel with regards to all aspects of basic electrical, carpentry, plumbing, and painting work. Complete maintenance request work orders from all departments on a timely basis. Participate in the preventive maintenance program for all-building equipment and rooms. Complete other special projects assigned periodically by the management. Able to work flexible hours based on business needs(weekends and evenings). Speak fluent English.

KEY JOB DUTIES

Minimum of 1 year of commercial maintenance

Receive daily work assignments from Front Desk/Manager and review priorities and special projects.

Check work orders and night audit reports for any problems. Make rounds checking these problem areas and note any information needed or safety concerns in the hotel.

Perform plumbing work orders. Perform electrical work orders. Perform Preventive Maintenance work orders. Handle chemicals for designated uses/surfaces.

Maintain complete knowledge of and comply with all departmental policies/service procedures/standards. Anticipate guests’ needs, respond promptly, and acknowledge all guests, however busy and whatever time of day.

Periodic tours of the property to ensure safety and security of all associates and guests. Report all safety and security issues directly to the manager.
