Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Landscape Supervisor to lead our landscaping team in delivering high-quality landscape maintenance and installation services. This role requires hands-on involvement in various landscaping tasks while supervising a team to ensure projects are completed efficiently and to the highest standards.
Duties
- Oversee daily operations of landscape maintenance and installation projects, ensuring adherence to company standards and client specifications.
- Supervise and train team members on proper landscaping techniques, including garden design, irrigation systems, lawn care, tree care, and groundskeeping practices.
- Plan and coordinate landscaping projects, including building structures such as patios or retaining walls as needed.
- Maintain equipment and tools, ensuring they are in good working condition for optimal performance.
- Conduct regular inspections of job sites to ensure safety protocols are followed and quality standards are met.
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide updates on project progress.
- Manage schedules and allocate resources efficiently to meet project deadlines.
Experience
- Proven experience in landscape maintenance or a related field is essential, especailly in areas of Hardscape
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.
- Knowledge of horticulture, irrigation systems, lawn care practices, tree care, and landscape design principles, and Hardscape
- Experience in supervising staff and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions while maintaining a positive attitude.
- A valid driver's license is preferred for transportation between job sites.
