What are the responsibilities and job description for the Bartender (Hilton) position at Bluestone Hospitality Group?
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Mix alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages so that servers can deliver the best drink possible
- Work the service bar in a friendly and efficient manner. Ensure all drink orders have been rung in
- Check identification of customers to verify age requirements for purchase of alcohol
- Provide excellent guest service by engaging the guest, describing food / beverage, taking orders, efficiently delivering food and accepting payment
- Inform guests of specials and / or promotions, answer questions and make suggestions when asked
- Use up-selling techniques with every guest to enhance dining experience
- Address guest concerns and inform manager
- Assist in keeping the restaurant clean and safe
- Clean up spilled food, drink and broken dishes and remove empty bottles and trash from the bar area
- Provide an enjoyable bar experience for every Guest
- Remain visible behind the bar at all times to assist Guests and Team Members
- Provide responsible service of alcoholic beverages
