POSITION SUMMARY
The Clinical Practice Director is primarily responsible for Market level oversight of Clinical Practice, Quality, and Performance of all Bluestone Providers in Florida.
Reporting to the SVP of Clinical Practice, the Clinical Practice Director functions independently using effective leadership skills. The Clinical Practice Director works closely with other clinical and market leaders to ensure collaboration regarding provider development and practice implementation.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Oversight and assurance of Clinical Quality
Ensure individual provider practice is of excellent quality
Review benchmark indicators for teams and address or escalate concerns.Assist with roll-out of clinic wide initiatives and quality goalsRecruitmentInvolvement in candidate selection process either via interview or field shadow
Approval of APP practice model (collaborative vs team)Involvement in team growth and build outOnboarding of new ProvidersEnsures completion of training process
Mentorship on practice managementClinical evaluation in conjunction with Collaborating PhysicianAssurance of audits and follow upManagement of individual Advanced Practice ProvidersPeriodic 1-1 check-ins
Assist with implementing agreed-upon practice standardsAddresses or escalates barriers / issues and provides solutionsAnnual Performance ReviewsCollaboration with Primary Care Director and Physician Lead regarding Physician Quality and adherence to Bluestone policiesPeriodic 1-1 check-ins

Education / Experience
Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Education programFive (5) or more years of practice experienceMust have proven ability and desire to be a leader within the Bluestone provider groupExperience in former leadership roles preferred, but not requiredProven ability to communicate effectively with strong verbal and written skillsMust have a valid driver’s license and minimum state required liability auto insuranceKnowledge / Skills / Abilities

Work Environment-This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, tablets, phones and copiers.Physical Demands-This is primarily a sedentary role working indoors; however, some walking is required.
