Onsite Building Maintenance Technician, Downtown Portland
- This position reports to a specific Homeowner Association (HOA)/Condominium community in the Portland metro area
- Perform regular inspections and repairs of common areas, facilities, equipment, and recreational areas. Ensure cleanliness, safety, and proper functioning. Coordinate with contractors for major repairs or renovations
- Respond to maintenance requests promptly and collaborate with management to address community concerns. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inventory
- Coordinate with vendors to schedule and oversee facility repairs, ensuring timely and satisfactory completion of maintenance tasks
- Perform seasonal maintenance duties
- Handle administrative tasks such as maintaining records and ordering supplies
- Minimum 1 year of experience in property management maintenance
- Knowledge of one or more of the following building systems: electrical, plumbing, HVAC, pool/spa, mechanical systems
- Ability to respond to after-hours maintenance emergencies
- Strong interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to operate maintenance tools and equipment safely
- Ability to lift heavy objects, climb ladders, and perform manual labor
- A valid driver’s license and active insurance. Reliable transportation
