What You'll Do...
- Review Cost Allocation Plan (CAP) submissions to ensure they meet federal guidelines, including drafting necessary narrative edits.
- Identify and optimize opportunities to increase federal funding and enhance software configurations as required.
- Assist in calculating cost impacts related to CAP updates.
- Provide support to the Comptroller in addressing inquiries from Cost Allocation Services and CMS about CAP submissions.
- Deliver annual on-site training, focused on Medicaid cost allocation principles, for at least four hours.
- Answer questions from DOM’s Senior Leadership on the applicability of cost allocation and federal administrative claiming principles.
- Update AlloCAP software to maximize effectiveness and facilitate issue identification.
- Maintain AlloCAP software in accordance with state administrative software updates such as MAGIC, SPAHRS, and Workday.
Required Skills & Experience
- Minimum five years of professional experience in Medicaid Cost Allocation Plan (CAP) methodologies.
- Proficiency in applying federal administrative cost claiming principles.
- Depth of knowledge in federal regulations, including 2 CFR 200 Uniform Administrative Requirements, Cost Principles, and Audit Requirements for Federal Awards.
- Expertise in configuring and updating the AlloCAP software system.
