Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and streamline day-to-day HR operations
- Clarify company personnel policies, benefits, and procedures to employees and job applicants
- Facilitate new hire orientation and onboarding processes
- Administer the FMLA process from application through administration
- Record comprehensive data for each employee, including hire dates, absences, counseling issues, and reasons for terminations
- Perform administrative tasks like processing payroll, resolving time discrepancy issues, and managing filing status changes using Kronos and HR Service Center
- Assist with recruitment activities, including interviews, tests, and employee selection for vacant roles
- Complete required paperwork and reports diligently
- Contribute to the development and implementation of cost-saving ideas and strategies
- Communicate newly updated policies or procedures to the team efficiently
- Organize and conduct new employee orientation to cultivate a positive attitude towards company goals
- Coordinate and lead training sessions for employees regarding compliance/ethics, Expect Respect, and safety
- Address inquiries concerning policies, procedures, and programs
- Maintain confidentiality within the HR department concerning employee disclosures and issues

- Proven experience in HR operations and management
- Strong communication skills to explain policies and procedures clearly
- Ability to handle payroll and other administrative tasks effectively
- Experience in managing recruitment processes and conducting interviews
- Knowledge in coordinating training programs and orientations
