Position Summary
We are seeking a ServiceNow GRC/IRM and BCM Architect/Developer to lead the implementation of Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) and Business Continuity Management (BCM) solutions within the ServiceNow platform. This role will design, develop, and optimize advanced ServiceNow configurations that streamline compliance and risk management processes for our federal clients.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the lead developer for ServiceNow GRC/IRM and BCM module implementation
- Design and configure workflows, policies, ACLs, UI components, and process flows
- Translate client requirements and user stories into functional ServiceNow applications
- Develop server-side and client-side JavaScript, Business Rules, and Script Includes
- Create and manage update sets and data transformations between environments
- Lead requirement gathering sessions and provide technical guidance to project teams
- Troubleshoot issues and implement bug fixes and performance optimizations
- Support Agile development methodologies across DEV, TEST, and PROD environments
- Create technical documentation, training materials, and support guides as needed
Minimum Qualifications
- Master’s degree 10 years of relevant experience OR Bachelor’s degree 12 years of experience
- 7 years of hands-on ServiceNow development
- Strong experience in UI Policies, UI Actions, Business Rules, Script Includes, Client Scripts, Catalog Scripts
- 5 years working with ServiceNow GRC/IRM modules, including:
- Authority Documents
- Control Objectives
- Risk and Audit processes
- Policy and Acknowledgement Campaigns
- Skilled in REST/SOAP integrations and JavaScript scripting
- Experience with App Engine Studio and UI Builder
- ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD)
Preferred Qualifications
- ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist – Risk and Compliance
- BCM Micro-Certification
- Experience with importing/exporting data, transform maps, and automation
- Agile development experience
- Familiarity with data integration tools (Stored Procedures, Queues)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
