Salary : £30,000 – £35,000 per annum plus call out payments
Job Type : Permanent, Full-Time
Working Hours : 12 hour on call shifts, including weekend cover alternative weekends on a rota basis.

About the Role :
Due to an increase in workload, we are looking for an additional Van Driver. As part of the team you will :
- Professionally driving and operating an allocated vehicle that is assigned by the Transport department daily while ensuring an efficient and effective collection, transportation and disposal of customer waste.
- Carry out daily vehicle checks and report all defects which may affect the safe and efficient operation of your vehicle or equipment immediately to the office.
- Verifying that paperwork / jobs scheduled on the tablet matches the container type loaded prior to departure from site
- All Duty of Care / Waste Transfer Notes are completed promptly and accurately
- Use and maintain your vehicle and equipment in accordance with the training given.
- Ensure all loads are secure and safe and follow site safety instructions at all sites.
- Comply with the Company Health & Safety Policy and the Company rules including reporting any unmarked hazards, near misses or accidents and wearing the correct PPE.
