Behavioral Health Clinician - Child Therapist
We are an outpatient mental health clinic that provides therapy and evaluation services for individuals of all ages. We specialize in providing care for anxiety, ADHD, and autism concerns. We are seeking a clinician to provide therapeutic services to primarily preschool and school-aged children. Responsibilities may include:
- Manage a caseload of up to 25 psychotherapy patients
- Provide school consultations as requested
- Contribute to the improvement of clinical processes and operations
Educational requirements:
- Minimum of a Master’s degree in clinical or school/educational psychology or social work
Required qualifications:
- Minimum of one year experience practicing evidence-based interventions, behavioral therapy, and cognitive behavioral therapy in a clinical or school setting
- Experience providing therapeutic services to preschool and/or school-age children
- Must be licensed in the state of Michigan with an LP, LLP, TLLP, LLMSW, or LMSW
Recommended qualifications (training provided as needed):
- Experience treating individuals with ASD
- Experience using a cloud-based EHR (e.g., TherapyNotes)
- Desire to expand clinical expertise to a wider age range or to provide assessment services
- Interest and/or experience in providing group therapeutic/skills groups
