Job Title: Fleet Technician

The primary purpose of this role is to perform preventative and corrective maintenance on fleet vehicles and equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety.

Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot and repair gas and diesel engines, hydraulic systems, air brakes, forklifts, tankers, and trailers.
• Program and record assigned preventative maintenance tasks.
• Assist in educating Route Sales Representatives on pre and post-trip inspections.
• Process invoices for payment and act as the vendor billing point of contact.
• Maintain parts inventory and budget.
• Ensure a safe work environment and maintain cleanliness of the workspace.
• Learn other aspects of Warehouse/Transportation duties.

Qualifications:

• Two years of technical education or three years of hands-on experience (gas or diesel accepted).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs.
• Cummins, Ford, or other engine manufacturer Diagnostic Tool proficiency.
• Ability to handle physical requirements, including repeated bending, stretching, twisting, and lifting up to 60 pounds.
• Valid driver's license.
• CDL A preferred.
• ASE Certification required within a specified period of time.
• Possession of personal tools.
• Positive team-player attitude and exceptional work ethic, energy, and drive.
