BlueTriton Brands is a leading water and beverage company in North America, producing and distributing a portfolio of brands of spring water, purified water, and other beverages.
We are currently seeking applicants for a Yard Utility/Switcher, night shift position at our Stanwood, Michigan facility.
This role involves safely operating a yard truck to accurately and efficiently move trailers from the yard to a shipping door for shipment to customers.
The successful candidate will have the ability to work self-directed and accomplish daily workload with minimal supervision, while maintaining housekeeping and sanitation of the yard truck.
Key responsibilities include:
- Safely operate a yard truck to accurately and efficiently move trailers from the yard to a shipping door for shipment to customers
- Inspect trailers before movement to ensure trailer is safe before loaded with product
- Meet or exceed Warehouse Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Maintain housekeeping and sanitation of yard truck
- Supports continuous improvement initiatives
- Perform loading or palletizing responsibilities as needed
In addition to the above responsibilities, the successful candidate will also be required to:
- Have a high school diploma, GED or equivalent work experience
- Hold a Class A commercial driver license (CDL) preferred
- Prior forklift or heavy equipment experience preferred with prior experience in manufacturing desired
- Exposure to warehouse inventory scanners and basic equipment maintenance preferred
- Ability to interact with various internal contacts to manage the flow of work
We offer a competitive compensation package, including a base hourly rate of $26.93 and a 6-8% shift differential for applicable hours worked.
