SOC Technical Trainer

BlueVoyant is seeking an experienced Technical Trainer to develop and deliver comprehensive training programs for our Security Operations Center (SOC) analysts and SOC adjacent teams. You will play a critical role in enhancing the skills of our team, ensuring they are equipped to protect our global customers‘ IT environments effectively.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement training programs for SOC analysts at various levels, focusing on security operations, threat detection, and incident response.
- Evaluate the training needs of SOC analysts and create tailored training plans to address skills gaps.
- Deliver engaging training sessions, workshops, and hands-on labs both virtually and in-person.
- Develop training materials, including manuals, presentations, and instructional videos.
- Stay current with the latest cybersecurity trends, tools, and techniques to ensure training content is up to date.
- Collaborate with SOC leadership to assess training effectiveness and make improvements as needed.
- Mentor and provide guidance to SOC analysts, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.
- Coordinate with external vendors and partners to integrate third-party training resources when appropriate.
- Maintain training records and track progress to ensure compliance with industry standards and certifications.
- Support the onboarding process of new SOC analysts by providing foundational training and knowledge transfer.
- Work cross functionally with SOC adjacent teams to help empower and enable them to better understand the service and support our clients.
