Job Description:
We are seeking an Electronic Security Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing and programming electronic access control systems, network video and CCTV camera systems, and other low-voltage security installations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install and program electronic access control systems, including card readers, biometrics, power supplies, controllers, enclosures, relays, switches, and electronic locks.
- Install and program electronic access control server & software, and pull and terminate low voltage wire & cable.
- Install and program network video and CCTV camera systems, including mounting and installing video cameras.
- Install and program network video servers and software, including video analytics.
- Train end users on how to operate the systems.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a low voltage security installer is required.
- The successful candidate must be able to lift a minimum of 50lbs.
- A valid driver's license with a clean driving record is mandatory.
- The ability to work overtime as necessary to meet deadlines is essential.
- Occasional out-of-town travel and hotel stays may be required.
- Strong understanding of basic math skills and ability to read tape measures, use common measurement tools (framing square, level, laser), and utilize shop tools efficiently.
