SUMMARY :
Design and produce graphics and collateral for BlueWater Resort and Casino.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Provide outstanding guest and associate service while performing assigned duties, including interpreting and conveying information throughout the BlueWater Resort & Casino.
- Use existing knowledge of current graphic design software to produce graphic art and visual materials for promotions, advertisements, and instructional material through a variety of media outlets.
- Work closely with graphic artist to teach how to produce creative and comprehensive layouts and unique designs for marketing and advertising campaigns and on-property signage.
- Learn and master current and new design / creative principles and graphic design trade requirements.
- Progress to a level where the instructions and guidance required is minimal.
- Remain current with technological advances in the field and equipment utilized at the BlueWater Resort & Casino.
- Observe, learn and utilize the computer to design and create basic advertising and collateral pieces.
- Work with the established job order priority list and assist in multitasking on several projects simultaneously.
- Inform the Director of Marketing of problems or difficulties in meeting requirements.
- Learn and implement intermediate design skills while maintaining a broad knowledge of current design and production techniques.
- Keep the workplace safe by following established policies, procedures, and guidelines.
- Uphold social media / website content.
- Perform various video and photo work from a flying platform (Drone / Quadcopter).
- Promote teamwork, efficiency, and dedication while supporting team behaviors.
- Effectively work under established time constraints to meet deadlines for all projects.
- Perform all other duties as assigned to meet responsibilities of the position.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES :

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS :
Must have a high school diploma, a General Education Development (GED) certificate, or its equivalent. A bachelor's degree in Art, Graphic Design, or a related field is preferred. An equivalent amount of previous on-the-job experience and / or industrial training may also be accepted in lieu of the education requirements for this position. Previous experience with an advertising agency, graphic design studio, or other experience in the graphic design field is highly encouraged. Must possess superior computer skills. Experience operating a drone / quadcopter is highly preferred, and must be able to obtain RPC (Remote Pilot Certificate) from a certified FAA testing center.
