What are the responsibilities and job description for the Project Manager position at BlueWater Federal Solutions Inc.?
BlueWater Federal is looking for a Project Manager to support the U.S. Department of Transportation's (DOT) Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO).
This program will provide on-site support for the daily operations and maintenance of the DOT web platform on the Office of the Secretary of Transportation's Drupal Content Management System (CMS). Tasks also include the integration and development of new content and/or websites within the CMS and migration to Drupal 8 and/or possible adoption of a new CMS.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for the overall management, successful planning, execution, monitoring, and closing of a specific project ensuring that the technical solutions and schedules are implemented in a timely and cost-effective manner.
- Interface with the Government Contracting Officer (CO), the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR), government management personnel, and customer agency representatives.
- Ensure compliance with applicable FARs and DoD regulations, requirements, policies and procedures, cost and schedule, and engineering specifications.
- Develop project plans, assign tasks, manage timelines, budgets, and resources, and communicate progress to stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree
- 6 years of PM experience
- PMP certification is desired
- Must have an active Public Trust clearance. US Citizenship required.
