Bluewater Media is looking for a full-time Shopify Developer to join our rapidly expanding and award-winning team!
The ideal candidate will have 3 to 7 years of experience in developing and maintaining e-commerce websites on the Shopify platform. You will be responsible for the development and maintenance of high-quality, user-friendly e-commerce websites that support the needs of our clients. Our team is responsible for the websites of some of the top direct to consumer brands.
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop and Maintain Shopify Stores : Manage Shopify themes and templates. Ensure the functionality, performance, and scalability of Shopify stores.
- Customization and Integration : Customize Shopify themes and integrate third-party applications and APIs to enhance store functionality and performance.
- UI / UX Design : Collaborate with designers to implement responsive and visually appealing UI / UX designs.
- Performance Optimization : Optimize site performance, ensuring fast load times and seamless user experiences.
- Troubleshooting and Debugging : Identify and fix bugs and issues in Shopify stores. Provide technical support and troubleshooting as needed.
- Coding Quality and Best Practices : Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code. Adhere to coding standards and best practices.
- Collaboration : Work closely with cross-functional teams, including designers, project managers, and other developers, to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Client Communication : Communicate with clients as needed to understand their requirements and provide solutions to solve for their needs.
Required Skills and Qualifications :
Proficiency in Shopify platform and Liquid programming language.
