As a member of Bluewater Thermal Solutions shipping and receiving team this position reports to the branch General Manager. This opportunity offers the successful candidate the chance to work close to home and have nights free. You will travel in the state of Illinois and Wisconsin to deliver heat-treated parts to our customers while adhering to local laws and understanding safety policies and regulations. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- The employee is responsible for delivering and picking up material to and from customers. This includes loading and unloading the truck by forklift or by hand.
- Communicate with Customer Service Representative as to how delivery route will be run.
- Verifies shipping documents corresponding with work orders to be delivered.
- Do a visual inspection of outgoing material, for rust, dirt, mixed parts, etc.
- Follow receiving inspection and shipping procedures and applicable work instructions.
- Weigh all incoming material, count containers, and verify information on customer P.O.
- Any material being returned, (nonconforming material/rejects), should be placed in the nonconformance/hold area.
- Do a quick inspection of the truck before leaving for the day and make sure the truck is clean.
- Any duties requested by supervisor.

Requirements
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to satisfactorily perform each essential duty. The requirements are listed below:
- Must have a CDL A license
- Experience: (5) years of CDL A vehicle driving experience
- Language Skills: Must be able to communicate effectively orally and in writing.
- Physical Demands: Must be able to sit and stand for prolonged periods, bend, stoop and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Work Environment: May be exposed to heat, noise, humidity, fumes.
- Familiar with Company Health & Safety Policies.
- Must maintain a professional image and be courteous to all customers.
- Capable of working well with minimal supervision.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain status of certified forklift operator.
