The Product Marketing Manager (PMM) at BlueWind Medical will champion the brand across all materials, ensuring alignment with the company's positioning strategy and support of company objectives. The manager will develop strategic plans to support market development, fostering healthcare professional (HCP) product adoption and patient awareness through educational content and community programs. The PMM plays a key role in promoting adoption through building relationships with cross-functional team members, actively seeking feedback and identifying needs to drive marketing programs. Responsibilities include fostering key customer relationships, creating compelling marketing programs and content, managing promotional reviews, tradeshow management, overseeing project timelines, budgets, and vendor agreements. The role also involves collaborating closely with product management on market insights and performing business analysis.
Responsibilities:
- Champion the BlueWind Medical brand in all materials and ensure it is aligned to the company brand and positioning strategy.
- Internally promote the company's objectives, products and services to employees within the organization to increase employee engagement with the company's goals and foster brand advocacy.
- Develop strategic plans to support HCP product adoption and increase product awareness, including the planning of educational content.
- Develop strategic plans and programs to support patient awareness initiatives. This includes coordination of community-based events and creation of education content.
- Responsible for compelling content creation supporting marketing product value messaging and sales/promotional materials including, but not limited to, website, social media presence and campaigns, physician and patient journeys, investor and reimbursement awareness, paid media, earned media and marketing collateral.
- Manage promotional review process in timely fashion to support goals and objectives.
- Manage resourcing, timelines and budgets associated with projects in areas of responsibility.
- Initiates and manages schedule for marketing projects and project milestones ensuring timely execution of marketing plans.
- Manage vendor agreements and work deliverables to meet defined business objectives, including providing creative direction and effective communication.
- Collaborate with product management team to provide market insights.
- Perform ongoing business analysis looking at drivers and key metrics to identify trends and insights for guiding strategic business initiatives. Monitors competitive activities and communicates changes/activity to the team.
- Obtain product, HCP and patient knowledge and develop product expertise.
- Leads strategy and implementation of conventions and conferences, including sponsorship opportunities and HCP engagement opportunities.
- Cultivate and foster key relationships with customers as well as emerging leaders in the field.
- Regularly obtain and seek feedback from customers and field organization to gather information, identify needs, and assess opportunities to help drive marketing programs and input to product planning.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred.
- Travel up to 25%.
- 5-7 years of relevant experience in Medical Device or healthcare related Marketing with experience developing and implementing patient education programs in collaboration with the field sales team.
- Self-driven, adaptable, open-minded, and collaborative attitude with ability to function in a fast paced and remote environment.
- Creative thinking and problem-solving aptitude.
- Proven team player who is flexible, works hard, with the ability to adapt to the changing internal and external dynamics, who is both a team and individual contributor.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, customer service and interpersonal skills. Experience writing about science-related topics in a marketing context is highly desirable.
- Ability to write in a range of styles and tones, from technical to conversational.
- Familiarity with SalesForce Marketing Cloud is preferred.
