We are searching for an Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable Manager to join our Finance team; you will report to the V.P. of Finance. The AP/AR Manager will oversee accounts payable/accounts receivable functions within the Finance department and manages our corporate insurance policies. The AP/AR Manager will work with all departments within the company but primarily with Purchasing, Materials, Marketing, Sales and Logistics.

Job Responsibilities
- Coordinate and review trade credit requests
- Implement state of the art processes and technology in AP/AR and continuous improvement of those processes
- Setting goals and standards for the AP/AR team
- Hire & train AP/AR team members
- Work with team members to complete day-to-day tasks for AP/AR
- Annual 1099 Reporting
- Sales and Use Tax filing
- Work with corporate headquarters and insurance broker to provide for an adequate insurance program
- Provide certificate of insurance, file insurance claims
- Coordinate regular meetings with team members to promote transparency & open communication
- Work with other departments to identify & resolve issues, & optimize processes
- Promote the development of new, or modification of existing procedures and processes to increase productivity & optimize efficiency as well as digitalization
- Ensure all accounting & reporting functions are performed within specified timeframes
- Conduct annual performance reviews
- Approve vacation time and timecards
- Support internal/external audits as directed
- Perform special assignments &/or create ad-hoc reports as needed
- Minimum domestic & international travel is required
Job Requirements
- 4-year degree in Accounting or related field is preferred
- 3 years of Accounting experience in an industrial manufacturing environment is preferred
- Previous experience in an accounting leadership role
- Accounting principles, practices & reporting of financial data
- Thorough Knowledge of Sales and Use Tax
- Familiar to use Excel, Power BI etc to improve efficiency
- Effective verbal & written communication skills
- Management of one’s time & the time of others to achieve daily goals
- Inspecting/evaluating the quality of work produced
- Effective project management skills
- Establish/maintain collaborative partnerships with individuals on all levels of the organization
- Gaining acceptance to an idea through interpersonal skills & persuasion
- Motivating, developing & directing people as they work
- Planning, organizing & monitoring work done by others
- Bringing conflicting parties together to form an agreeable solution
