We are seeking an energetic and hard-working 2nd shift Injection Molding Operator to join our growing team at Blum USA. This is a great opportunity to link your career with an established international company.
Job Responsibilities
Injection Molding Operators report to the department manager and work primarily with other department personnel (Maintenance Coordinator, Technical Specialists and other Molding Machine Operators) and occasionally with Quality Assurance and Manufacturing Engineering. Our Operators are expected to be able to support the operation of fully automated Engel Injection Molding Machines.
Additional responsibilities for this position include :
- Assisting the technician with set ups & changeovers
- Clean in-process containers, support equipment & maintain general housekeeping in area
- Select & load correct raw materials in surge bins & keep color hoppers full
- Transfer materials from warehouse to department
- Perform incoming material inspection & documentation
- Perform quality checks & documentation with KOMEG & maintain quality standards throughout all department processes
- Will work 3rd shift Sunday – Thursday 11pm to 7am
- Works overtime including weekends
Job Requirements
To be successful in this type of position, we need team players who bring a positive attitude to the work place and enjoy being around and working with others. The ideal candidate will 2 years of relevant experience preferably working with Injection Molding machines in an industrial manufacturing environment.
