Recognized as one of the top four florists in Charleston, Blume Designs is a vibrant and rapidly growing floral studio seeking a talented part-time floral designer to join our team. The position offers varying hours between 15 and 20 hours per week.
To qualify for this role, candidates must exhibit substantial prior experience in floral design, as detailed in their resume. This includes a successful history of managing daily orders, creating wrapped bouquets for both in-store and external clients, and producing arrangements for weddings and events. We value a positive attitude, strong teamwork abilities, and excellent interpersonal skills in our ideal candidate. A valid driver's license is required for deliveries to specific clientele. As part of the interview process, candidates will be invited to participate in an audition to demonstrate their skills.
Candidates should be able to lift up to 20 pounds, show proficiency with technology, think quickly on their feet, and adapt swiftly to new tasks. Additionally, flexibility to work late nights and weekends three to four times a month, as well as during major holidays, is essential. A collaborative spirit and a positive outlook are crucial for success in this role.
