What are the responsibilities and job description for the Wardrobe Assistant position at Blumenthal Arts?
Blumenthal Arts seeks a team of detail-oriented Wardrobe Assistants to support the costume and wardrobe needs for Monopoly Lifesized: Travel Edition. The Wardrobe Assistants will maintain, launder, and repair costumes. Additionally, they will assist Immersive Game Hosts with dressing needs to ensure they are gameplay ready.
This is a temporary, part-time position directly tied to the duration of Monopoly Lifesized: Travel Edition. Wardrobe Assistants are expected to work 20-30 hours per week, including weeknights, weekends and holidays. The anticipated run is mid-April through mid-October.
Your impact:
- Perform daily laundering, steaming, and ironing of costumes.
- Conduct minor repairs such as sewing, mending, and replacing buttons, zippers and other fasteners.
- Organize and manage costume inventory and ensure all pieces are accounted for and properly stored.
- Prepare costumes for gameplay, including setting up dressing areas and coordinating any needed changes.

Skills You’ll Bring:
- Previous experience with wardrobe or costume management required
- Basic sewing and garment repair skills, including hand stitching
