Warehouse Associate

The Opportunity:

Gemini Water Systems is seeking a dynamic, full-time Warehouse Associate to join our multidisciplinary team at our Gainesville, Florida office. The successful candidate will play a critical role in supporting our operations by managing inventory, organizing warehouse activities, and assisting in the logistics of materials for designing, building, installing, and commissioning large-scale desalination and wastewater treatment systems. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and capable of working in a fast-paced environment to ensure the efficient flow of materials and equipment.

Job Responsibilities:

·       Receive, inspect, and record incoming shipments of components and materials.

·       Maintain accurate inventory records, conducting regular stock checks and reconciliations.

·       Ensure all parts and equipment are stored securely and labeled correctly.

·       Organize and maintain warehouse space to ensure efficiency and safety.

·       Prepare and package items for shipment, ensuring they meet project specifications and quality standards.

·       Assist in loading and unloading trucks with materials, utilizing forklifts and other equipment when necessary.

·       Work with procurement and suppliers to facilitate efficient order fulfillment.

·       Follow all health and safety regulations, ensuring compliance with company and industry standards.

·       Conduct routine inspections of warehouse equipment and report any maintenance needs.

·       Properly handle hazardous materials in accordance with safety protocols.

·       Maintain documentation related to shipments, inventory, and warehouse activities.

·       Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance warehouse efficiency and reduce waste.

Education, Skills and Qualifications:

·       High school diploma or equivalent, additional technical training will be an added advantage.

·       Two (2) years of experience in a warehouse, logistics, or inventory management role.

·       Forklift certification or willingness to obtain one.

·       Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

·       Comfortable performing physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs, as well as engaging in activities requiring manual dexterity and mobility.

·       Familiarity with the safe operation of power tools, as needed in support of warehouse activities.

·       Exceptional organizational and problem-solving abilities, with a strong focus on meeting deadlines and delivering results under pressure.

·       Proficiency in inventory management software and basic computer skills.

·       Strong ability to collaborate effectively with team members while also demonstrating independence in managing tasks and responsibilities

·       Ability to travel and periods away from your normal place of work may be required.

·       Possession of a valid driver's license, access to a reliable vehicle, and a valid U.S. passport.
