The Opportunity:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Project Coordinator to join our team in Gainesville, Florida. This entry-level position will support project managers in organizing and executing various water treatment projects while also engaging with clients and assisting in business development efforts. The ideal candidate will have a foundational understanding of project coordination, strong communication skills, and an interest in building client relationships to support our growth in the water treatment sector.
Key Job Responsibilities:
- Assist project managers in planning and executing water treatment projects, including scheduling, resource allocation, and budgeting.
- Coordinate project activities, ensuring all aspects are aligned with project goals and timelines.
- Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including transmittals, logs, and correspondence.
- Communicate effectively with internal teams and external partners to facilitate project progress.
- Monitor project plans and track progress to ensure milestones are achieved.
- Participate in project meetings, document key actions and decisions, and follow up on outstanding items.
- Assist in preparing project reports, presentations, and proposals as needed.
- Assist in identifying new business opportunities, supporting proposal development, and preparing presentations.
- Support the preparation of bids, contracts, and agreements in alignment with client needs and company policies.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Gather client feedback to improve service delivery and maintain strong client relationships.
Key Qualifications, Education, and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 1-2 years of experience in project coordination, business development, or client management, preferably within the water treatment or environmental services industry is considered an asset.
- Basic understanding of project management principles and methodologies.
- Ability to establish, nurture, and sustain strong client relationships through clear communication, trust, and proactive engagement.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, for collaboration with team members and partners.
- Understanding of business development principles, including lead generation, client engagement, and proposal writing.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize work in a dynamic environment.
- Commitment to continuous learning and professional growth within the engineering field.
- Familiarity with ERP systems is an advantage.
- Willingness to travel to project sites, and client meetings and adapt to various working conditions.
- In possession of a valid US Passport.
