Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Family Nurse Practitioner to join our healthcare team in a PRN/Contracted status. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive healthcare to patients two years old and up.
Duties
- Conduct physical exams and patient assessments
- Diagnose and treat common acute illnesses
- Manage chronic conditions such as diabetes and hypertension
- Provide patient education on disease prevention and health maintenance
- Perform procedures such as IV insertion and wound care
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care
- Utilize electronic health records for documentation
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Nursing with a Family Nurse Practitioner specialization
- Current state Nurse Practitioner license
- Certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner
- Experience in acute care settings
- Knowledge of ICD-10 coding
- Previous experience in medical office settings is preferred
Pay: $55.00 per hour
