Blunier Builders, Inc. is a growing construction company located in Eureka, IL searching for a motivated, mechanic to join our team. We have a large range of equipment, vehicles, and tools used in the three different divisions of our business that all require maintenance and repairs. This position would involve a great amount of variety where every day will be different from the next. Some specific responsibilities include general maintenance of equipment & vehicle fleet, diagnosing & repairing equipment and vehicles, service call to job sites, power tool repairs as well as ordering and managing parts.
The ideal candidate must have strong mechanical and electrical skills, exceptional analytic & diagnostic skills, intermediate computer skills, welding & cutting torch skills and must be a self-motivated, team player, and have the skills and ability to multi-task. We are looking for someone with excellent verbal and written communication skills, a valid driver's license and clean driving record and must have the ability to lift heavy objects and crawl under vehicles. Some evening and weekend work required.
