Role Overview
As a Construction Director at BluSky, you will play a crucial role in driving organizational success. You will be responsible for estimating, closing sales, and managing restoration projects. This position requires strong leadership skills, the ability to estimate and close deals, and a keen eye for detail.
Sales Revenue and Profit Margins
You will be responsible for meeting or exceeding monthly and yearly sales goals. You will negotiate and execute contracts on behalf of the company, selling all services that BluSky offers. You will track and measure sales and sales opportunities in our CRM and tracking sheets. You will oversee revenue production in accordance with monthly goals and work with the project team to ensure timeliness of deposit, progress, and final billings.
Estimating Proficiency and Customer Satisfaction
You will have extensive experience in construction estimating and large loss and catastrophe experience. You will be able to accurately sketch affected areas and use Matterport technology. You will have the ability to estimate a project to fit all target margins per the service provided. You will consistently communicate with all stakeholders (external and internal) setting expectations upfront with the customer holding teams accountable to provide updates checking in with the customer throughout the project email communication should have all stakeholders on the thread.
Business Development Activity and Required Skills
You will schedule and attend business development meetings with clients adjusters building consultants etc. You will participate in various special events to market BluSky luncheons trade shows award dinners etc. You will entertain clients as necessary to drive business and close sales. You must have intermediate-level Microsoft Office skills experience utilizing Xactimate and other estimating software preferred experience with social media platforms such as LinkedIn preferred. Strong written and verbal communication skills are required along with strong knowledge of project management financial processes and administration required OSHA 10 or 30 CPR and First Aid certifications preferred.
