Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Construction Project Director to join our team at BluSky. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading restoration projects, managing sales teams, and driving business development.
About the Role
- Lead restoration projects from start to finish, ensuring timely completion and customer satisfaction
- Manage sales teams to meet revenue targets and exceed sales goals
- Develop and implement business development strategies to drive growth and expansion
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless project execution and customer communication
Key Responsibilities
- Sales: Meet or exceed monthly and yearly sales goals, negotiate and execute contracts, convert opportunities into sales
- Revenue: Oversee and expedite revenue production, work with project teams to ensure timely deposit, progress, and final billings
- Profit Margins: Develop and take ownership of project budgets, ensure accuracy and modify as needed, improve profitability by judicious use of vendors and resources
- AR & Collections: Intentional conversations with customers, review and understand invoicing processes, perform weekly collection calls, maintain DSO at or below 75 days
Qualifications and Requirements
- 5 years of recent marketing/business development and sales experience in the restoration or construction industry
- Extensive estimating and/or large loss and catastrophe experience
- Must be able to attend business development networking functions 2-3 evenings a week
- Intermediate-level Microsoft Office skills, Xactimate knowledge, and social media platforms preferred
