Job Title: Restoration Superintendent
The BluSky Restoration team is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Restoration Superintendent to oversee the day-to-day operations of our restoration, reconstruction, and capital improvement projects. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction while meeting or exceeding billing, revenue, and profit margin goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Field Management: Follow project scope, notify Project Director of discrepancies, ensure all work is contracted/subcontracted, obtain necessary permits, adhere to OSHA and environmental regulations, assist with change orders, manage subcontractors, secure project resources, and ensure high-quality workmanship.
- Office Management: Execute subcontractor agreements, ensure proper documentation, approve/reject invoices, develop and update project schedules, and direct junior-level team members.
- Profitability Management: Meet or exceed billing, revenue, and profit margin goals, secure fair pricing on jobs, complete buy-out worksheets, track change orders, and manage project budgets.
Requirements:
- 3-5 years of experience in residential and commercial construction, general contracting, and/or restoration.
- 3 years of project management experience preferred.
- Ability to travel for emergency and non-emergency losses across the nation.
- Effective communication skills with clients, internal, and external contacts.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
