Management Internship – Order Processing Coordinator 

What You’ll do: 

Have you ever wondered what it's like to manage a team of 10 employees? As our Order Processing Coordinator, you will be managing your own team of order pickers. We want YOU to lead! You will be responsible for executing and overseeing the order picking process and training of employees.  What will you gain from us? On a typical day you will be accountable for: 

Leading, managing, and holding accountable the Order Picker and Order Processing Support teams. You will be responsible for assigning orders to your team and providing quality control support on each order.  

Physical Requirements:  

• Lift and carry 30-50 pounds throughout the workday. 

• Tolerate moderate to high noise level in the warehouse.  

• Vision abilities required are color vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception. 

• Perform steady pace of work while completing repetitive physical movements: stand, kneel, push and pull objects, reaching with hands and arms, etc. 

• Ability to work in non-air-conditioned warehouse during the summer with large fans creating moderate air flow.

Education, Experience & Proficiencies: 

• Hold or are working towards a bachelor's degree, preferably in Business, Supply Chain Management, Communication, Logistics Managment, or related fields. 

• Shipping Order picking/inventory/warehouse experience preferred. 

• Familiarity with Sage 100 (ERP) and ScanCo (WMS) preferred. 

• Microsoft Office 365 

• Forklift certified (preferred)

This is a 13-week internship program, here are the details: 

Our goal is to build lasting professional relationships that will help prepare you for the modern workplace while also helping BLUSOURCE find our next full-time Blu Crew members. So, over the course of the summer, BLUSOURCE interns will learn about business operations, receive dedicated time and feedback from business leaders, have opportunities to make formal presentations to company leaders, and gain useful experience in their department.  

Dates: May 12 – August 15

Hours: 8:00-4:30 Monday-Friday 

Compensation: 14.50/hr  

This position has a shift-based schedule with FT hours required during peak season (typically May-Aug)
